Mission Possible
Hi Friend/Family/Generous Supporters,
Firstly, thank you for your time and support for this worthwhile cause. Thanks to you, Jumpstart is able to help kids facing financial and accessibility barriers to access sports and play.
Sports have always been an important part of my life whether it be soccer, volleyball, or track. I believe that all children should have equal access to these sports, but sadly not all are able to afford to. I am looking to provide opportunities for kids by pledging to run 20km by the end of July. My run will be tracked through the Nike Run app.
During my time studying at Wilfrid Laurier University this past year, thanks to one of my amazing professors Leanne Hagarty, we "first years" were taught the importance of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the business workplace, but more specifically; ways that leaders can make progress and ensure the success of such programs. They taught us that in order to make the world better, you have to recognize your privilege.
I am here today trying to implement my learnings and truly make a difference in the world by raising money for the kids who might not have been as fortunate as me growing up.
A fact that I found shocking is that "since 2005, Jumpstart has helped over 2.4 million kids across the country get involved in activities like hockey, soccer, swimming and ballet."
THAT'S A HUGE IMPACT. By donating, you are making a true difference.
Please support me by hitting the “donate” button to make a secure online donation.
Together, we can help kids learn new skills, build confidence, and boost their self-esteem. Every dollar of your donation helps them get into the game!
