I’m participating in the 2023 Jumpstart Pedal for Kids ride!

Pedal for Kids is a 5 day cycling event whereby I will be cycling over 500 km in and around the Calgary and Banff area in Alberta.

This will be my 9th Pedal For Kids ride and to date I have raised over $30,000 and cycled over 4,000 km for this great cause.

Sport has always been a big part of my life from playing soccer from age 3, to learning how to play hockey when I first moved to Canada, a sport I still play today, to playing rugby at the University and Men's league level.

Sport has given me confidence, leadership, happiness and lifelong memories and friendships. So, I feel it is important to raise as much money as I can to allow as many children as I can to experience sport.

Jumpstart is more than just about getting kids active. It’s about giving kids from families in financial need the same chance to participate as their neighbours, their classmates and their friends. Whether it’s the chance to try a new sport or to continue with a favourite one, no kid should be left out.

The vision of Jumpstart is simple: Canada, where all kids have a chance to fulfill their dreams.

Since inception in 2005 Jumpstart has helped over 3 million kids participate in sports and recreational activities.
Proceeds raised from the Pedal for Kids ride will help kids across Canada get in the game.
